Agustin Flores

Agustin Flores, 90, of Aurora passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora. He was born September 23, 1931, in Tototlan, Mexico the son of Refugio and Geronima (Vazquez) Flores. He was united in marriage to Delia Corona. He moved to the United States in 1970. He was employed at the Aurora Paper Board serving as the maintenance supervisor. Agustin officially never retired even at the age of 90 he was working part-time as a sub-contractor to his previous employer.

He is survived by his wife Delia; nine children, Agustin Flores, Lorena Flores, Ricardo Flores, Idalia Flores, Francisco Flores, Elisa Flores, Augustine “Max” (Cristine) Flores, Jerry (Sara) Flores and Gloria (Sergio) Flores; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Jose Macias, Jesus Flores, and Alena Flores.

Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 429 Old Kirk Road Geneva, IL. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva, IL.
