Alice B. Orean

Alice B. Orean, 82, of Chicago, IL, and formerly of Papillion, NE passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at her home.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 19, 1940, the daughter of Jesse and Guadalupe (Reyes) Hernandez.  She was united in marriage to Richard Edmund Orean on February 19, 1977, in Omaha Nebraska. 
She is survived by her two daughters, Ann Marie (Samuel) Wurster, of Elburn, and Lizabeth (Thomas) Harmening; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Nathanial, Caroline, Isabelle, and Ava Wurster, and Charles, Edward, Joseph, and Katherine Harmening; her siblings, Eva Guardado, Esther Tansey, Catherine Crippen, Josephine Stanley, Melba Morris, Mary (Peter) Waldo; and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Edmund Orean and her siblings, Leonora Kohlman, Richard, and Paul Hernandez. 

Visitation will be held from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.  A funeral service was held at 12:30 P.M. at the funeral home.  She was laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
