Anna Morici

Anna Morici, 98, of St. Charles and formerly of Frankfort, KY, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.  She was born October 9, 1923, in Sicily the daughter of Peter and Angela (Castrofilippo) Morici.  She was united in marriage to Vincent Morici October 14, 1941, in Italy. 

Anna was a member of the Societa’ Orginale Santa Rosalia di Compofelice di Roccella, of Chicago, IL.  She was employed by Motorola until her retirement. 

She is survived by her children, Marie (William) Mika of Frankfort, KY and Peter (Joy) Morici of St. Charles; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Morici; eight grandchildren, Kelly (Jeffrey) DeJesus, Steven (Mary Beth) Mika, Peter (Erin Zaroukian) Morici, Joseph Morici, Michael (Mariana) Morici, April (Kenneth) Schum, Dustin Morici, and Rhett Morici; eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Mika, Evan DeJesus, Carley Ann Mika, Colin DeJesus, Dominic Morici, Anna Morici, Kinsley Schum, and William Morici.     

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Vincent, a son Joseph Morici; her brothers, James, Frank, Salvatore, Joseph, and John Morici and her sister Angela Glorioso.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. 

Funeral services will begin with prayers 9:30 A.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021, from Moss-Norris Funeral Home, before proceeding to St. Patrick Parish 6N 487 Crane Road St. Charles to celebrate Mass at 10:00 A.M.  Interment will follow in Prairie Cemetery, St. Charles, IL.
