Anne Lise Thormodsrud

Anne-Lise Thormodsrud, 76, of Batavia, IL, went home to Jesus on Thursday, November 14. Her family can rejoice in the knowledge that she is healed, healthy, happy and in heaven. 

Lise was born in Holmestrand, Norway on September 11, 1943. She wed her high school sweetheart Aage on January 4th, 1964. After immigrating to the United States in 1968, she was a homemaker and also employed as a payroll clerk at PSI for more than 30 years. Lise was a dedicated member of Heritage Baptist Church. She raised three children and was “Mormor” to her five grandchildren. Her sweet Norwegian accent will be missed. 

She is survived by her two children; Hilde Smith of Batavia, and Stig Thormodsrud of Sunnyvale, California, her son-in-law Trent Rold and five grandchildren; Annamarie and Emily of Batavia, and Grant, Grace, and Morgan of Arvada, Colorado. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Aage, and her daughter Linda.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, November 27th at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  Visitation will be held 10 AM, until the time of the service.
