Anthony Carmen Scaglione

Anthony Carmen Scaglione, 94, of Lockport, New York and formerly of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Pompano Beach, Florida died Thursday, February 11, 2021.  He was born February 17, 1926 in Chicago the son of Albert and Amelia (Rochetti) Scaglione.  He was united in marriage to Anne Christine VanKeulen December 3, 1949. Anne passed away May 28, 1988.  He was later married to Wanda Donelson. 

Anthony proudly served in the United State Army during WWII.  He was a hardworking and talented man who owned and operated concrete construction business Curbs, Inc.  He was a great cook with a wonderful sense of humor.  

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; five children, Anthony (Diane) Scaglione, Jr., Nancy (John) Peck, Albert (Judy) Scaglione, Michael (Maria) Scaglione, and Gina (Nick) Falco; a daughters-in-law, Suki Scaglione and Yoland Scaglione; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Betty Villa, Genny (Dr. Dominick) Catrambone, and Debbie (Fred) Mersman; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father Albert (Delia) Scaglione and his father Amelia (Dave) Escobedo  he is preceded in death by his first wife Anne; and his sisters, Grace, Alberta, Rita and Frances. 

Visitation will be held 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. 

Funeral services will begin with prayers 10:00 A.M. Monday February 22, 2021 before proceeding to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street Batavia, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M.  Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
