Phil was born in Chicago but raised in Sharon, TN. Phil graduated from Sharon High School in 1966 where he had a fantastic career playing basketball all 4 years. He spent time in the Tennessee National Guard before heading back to Chicago to franchise a 7-11 store for 28 years in Lombard. After the store, Phil joined the Uncommon USA team as the lead salesman for many years. His career with Uncommon lasted 15 years until his semi-retirement in 2015. Then as planned, Phil and Rose retired to Treasure Island, FL. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rose and two daughters, Tanya (John) Huver of Geneva and Tara (Tyler) Kramer of Lee as well as his greatest joys, his grandchildren; Mia (12), Macy (9), Teagan (6) and his favorite little buddy Treven (4).
