Bernice D. Gibson

Bernice D. Gibson, 87, of St. Charles passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.  She was born May 9, 1935, in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Welcome and Katherine (Wekenman) Parker.

She was a long-time resident of Grand Island, New York and later of St. Charles, IL. She was a member of the Western New York Genealogy Society and the New England Historic Genealogical Society for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Gibson; a daughter Marine J. (James A.)  Moynihan; two grandsons, Jason A. (Lisa) and Patrick J. (Jana) Moynihan; and four great grandchildren, Nick, Mia, June, and Levi.   

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Earl Parker, Charles Parker, and Margaret McAndrews.

A private entombment will be held in Elmlawn Cemetery, Kenmore, NY.
