William “Butch” Forrest Clever, 75, of North Aurora, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. He was born July 24, 1946, in Aurora, IL the son of Stanley and Margaret (Probst) Clever. He was united in marriage to Corrine Williams July 23, 1966, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia. Butch had a wonderful and rewarding career as a farmer in the Batavia and Maple Park area. Butch also worked as a truck driver at Batavia Container for many years. He loved being a farmer, his grandchildren and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Corrine; two daughters, Robyn (Mike) Melnyczuk, and Jennifer (Ed) Bernal; three grandchildren, Brittany Anderson, Dylan Bernal, and Grace Bernal; four sisters, Peg (Kurt) Middleton, Sandy Zacher, Laurie Rudow, and Debbie (Rich) Quast; a very dear friend who was like a mother, Merrida Carlson, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Lois Sutton. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. At 12:00 P.M. a funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Interment will follow in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL. |
