Carroll Besch

Carroll “Bud” Besch, 86, of St. Charles, IL passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Il. Bud was born on September 3, 1933 in Mooreton, N.D., the son of Louis and Florence (nee. Weber). He was united in marriage to Nancy L. Gossman on October 15, 1960 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Charles, IL. Bud is survived by his loving wife Nancy L. Besch; his daughter, Laura Besch; his son, Timothy Besch, his brother, Kenneth (Mary Carol) Besch; many loving nieces, nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bud was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Charles and went to St. Patrick’s School thru the 8th grade. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1951 and served in the United States Air Force for four years, after graduation. Bud worked for Hines Lumber Company most of his career and was loved by all he worked with. Bud loved to play golf with longtime friends and he loved the Chicago Cubs. Bud also loved to play jokes on people and make people laugh. Bud was a terrific husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by everyone. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, IL. 60174. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery in St. Charles. There will be a public service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Bud’s name may be made to Northern Illinois Food Bank https://solvehungertoday.org/donate/, or to the Charity of your choice. With following the guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 funeral services are being limited to ten (10) or less people, there will not be any public service. |
