Charles Samuel Cornett
 July 26, 1952 - November 20, 2021 Charles “Sam” Cornett, 69, of St. Charles, Illinois and formerly of Hinsdale, Illinois passed away suddenly Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. Sam was born July 26, 1952, in Hamilton, OH the son of Michael and Laddie (Goins) Cornett. He was united in marriage to Diana Vix on October 4, 1980, in Okeana, OH. Sam had a wonderful personality and loved hanging out with people and would always bring a positive outlook. He had great musical talent. He was an accomplished banjo player, guitarist, and song writer. Sam enjoyed helping others and he was the guy who family and friends could count on. His heart was always open to helping a charity or other people who were less fortunate. His music, laughter, love, and cooking will always be remembered and never forgotten. He is survived by his wife Diana Cornett; a daughter Alyssa (Nicholas) Segura; and a brother Robert Cornett. He is preceded in death by his parents. All funeral services were held privately. We would greatly appreciate your company to celebrate with us the beauty that was Sam’s life. Nothing besides your lovely faces is requested for this bittersweet event.
