Curtis Monroe Brinson
October 13, 1955 - August 28, 2021 Curtis Brinson, 65, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2021, in the prime of his life. Curt was the first of three boys born to Joseph and Bettie (nee. Padgett) Brinson on a warm afternoon at Hunter Air Force base in Savannah, Georgia. Curt married his high school sweetheart and chemistry partner Lindy 46 years ago at the Smith Family Reunion Center on Seed Tick Road. Together they had three adoring and feisty daughters who in turn had several beautiful granddaughters… no boys! His joy on earth was his family whom he was utterly devoted every moment of his life to. One life lived; many lives touched. Curt proudly served 6 years in the United States Air Force as a Weather Equipment Specialist and Non-Commissioned Officer. Curt was never more than an arm’s length away from several books. Throughout his life Curt never lost his deep-rooted passion and zealously for learning and analyzing every and any subject that interested him and playing pool. He adored our fur babies who brought him immense joy and loved to give them daily rub rubs and attention to start his mornings. His formal education included MBA-E Business, MBA Global Management, BS Business Information Systems, Associates Degrees: Computer Programmer/Analyst, Systems Networking Technology. Curt was a true champion for military veterans as a Senior Contract Specialist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at the Hines Veterans Hospital in Illinois. Curt worked diligently and tirelessly making complicated, strategic, and innovative business decisions to help veterans acquire vital good and services needed and deserved. He will be ardently and dearly treasured by his devoted wife of 46 years Lindy Brinson; Daughters Emma Brinson, Alicia Brinson, and Sarah Wolff (nee Brinson); Granddaughters Karissa and Kaitlyn Komorowski, and Savannah Arriaga of Arizona. Daphne Wolff, and Kyra Wolff of Illinois. He will also be dearly missed by his brother Keith Brinson of Georgia. Brenda and Mickey Talley of Georgia, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a plethora of friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Kevin Brinson. A very private memorial service was held for his wife and daughters at Moss Family Funeral Home in Batavia Illinois.
