David Aubrey Clark

David (Dave) Aubrey Clark born May 24th, 1947, passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday, May 30th at his home in St. Charles, IL. Dave was born in Durban, South Africa to parents Donald Alfred Hercules Clark and Muriel Abrahams. He served in the South African army and received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Natal. He married Denmah Anne Nipper on December 4,1970. The couple were avid travelers prior to settling in Streamwood, IL, raising their three children, Kim, Kevin, and Kendra. He began his career in printing at Crosfields Electronics in London. Later, he worked for R.R. Donnelley, where he was granted several US patents. In 1987, Dave founded his own printing business, Laser Colour. Upon retirement, Dave enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, tinkering, fixing any and everything, and visiting with other residents of Carroll Towers. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Alfred Clark and mother, Muriel Abrahams. He is survived by wife, Denmah, children, Kim (Scott) Edwards, Kevin (Christine) Clark, and Kendra (David) Scott, grandchildren, Joey and Kal Edwards, Dominic and Addison Clark, siblings, Michael (Karin) Clark, Joan (Derek) Harverson, and Maureen (John) Brecher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. |
