Debra Ann Quirin

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Debra Ann Quirin (Kroll), our loving and devoted mother, GG, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She waged a war on her small cell lung cancer and fought like a warrior, but finally succumbed to the disease on September 14, 2021.

Debra was born in Franklin Park, IL, on May 24, 1961.  She was 60 years old at the time of her passing. Debra was predeceased by her mother Yvonne Kroll and father Thaddeus Kroll.

Debra worked at the Kane County Circuit Clerk’s office for 25 years on the records team and civil court team. She loved working with the judges, attorneys, and her coworkers.

She is survived by her three children Samantha (Andrew) Kownacki, Sabrina Corriero, and Daniel Quirin and three grandchildren Noah, Vivian, and Charlotte that she loved and cherished deeply. She is also survived by her brothers Tom Kroll and Jeff Kroll. 

Debra adored her children and grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. She especially loved her role as GG. Debra had a feisty personality and always made people around her laugh. 

Most of all she loved her family and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. 

Interment will be private.
