Eugene Paul Laskowski

Eugene Paul Laskowski, 82, of St. Charles passed away peacefully November 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born January 11, 1940, in Chicago the son of Eugene Adolf and Irene Pearl (Jarmusz) Laskowski.  He was united in marriage to Delores Frederick on June 18, 1964, in Chicago, IL.

Eugene worked as a printer his entire career.  He was employed by Index Sales and later Luck Envelope until his retirement in 2012. An avid sports fan, he was a fan of all the Chicago professional athletics.  Eugene also enjoyed horse racing and could often be found at a local off-track betting facility.  He also enjoyed bowling, but most important he was a great husband, a loving father, and a friend to many.      

He is survived by his loving wife Delores; three children Sharon Laskowski, James Laskowski and Carrie (Eric) Obremski; four grandchildren, Scott, Tyler, Braeden, and Carter Laskowski, three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Riley and Grace and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Marcelline Mytnik, Dennis Laskowski, Ronald Laskowski and Howard Laskowski.

Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL 60174.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
