Eunice M. Gannegan

July 18, 1928 - November 2, 2021

Eunice Gannegan, 93 of Batavia, IL, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2021. Eunice was born July 18, 1928, in Sumner, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Kuhlman) Poock. She attended Concordia Teachers College in River Forest and taught in Lutheran Day Schools for nine years. In later years she did clerical and bookkeeping work. Eunice was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora. She is survived by one son, John (Lorrie) Pracht of Alabama, five stepchildren, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, three sisters, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Byron Pracht and her second husband, Lloyd Gannegan. Graveside services will be 12:30 P.M. Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora.
