Georgia L. Hermes

Georgia L. Hermes, 81, of St. Charles passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Batavia Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.  She was born July 6, 1939 in Aurora, IL the daughter of George and Ruth (Peterson) Milton.  She was united in marriage to Russell Hermes February 27, 1960 in Aurora. Georgia loved kids so she became a bus driver in St. Charles where she enjoyed many years of service to the students and the community. She is survived by her son, David (Connie) Hermes of Geneva; her grandchildren, Christine, Nicholas, Michael, and Samantha Hermes; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Lily and Liam; and a brother John (Cheryl) Milton of St. Charles; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Russell; her two children, Paula Hermes-Stafford and Michael George Hermes; and her siblings, Patricia Sanderson, and Ronald Milton. A private funeral service was held at Moss Family Funeral Home and interment was in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL.
