Helene Marlow Bellin

Helene Marlow Bellin, 49, passed away after a brief illness on March 11, 2022, at her home in Aurora, Illinois.  She was born on February 11, 1973, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter Lyle and Mary (Shaw) Bellin.  Helene was a graduate of Saint Charles High School and continued her education at DeVry University in Addison, Illinois where she earned her associate’s degree and had started pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Helene’s smile and infectious laugh would always light up a room and brighten the day of those around her.  She loved working every summer at the Renaissance Faire in Bristol, Wisconsin, and spent many hours working at local shops and volunteering her time to help make the Faire a continued success.  Helene was also an animal lover.  She often volunteered her time at the animal rescue shelter as she adored helping homeless cats find new families.  She also was a longtime member of KAI and cherished the camaraderie and friendships she made over the years.

Helene is survived by her brother, Peter (Kelley) Bellin and her nephew, Xavier Bellin, and was preceded in death by her parents. 

A private family funeral service was held.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 19^th from 3:30 to 6:30 at Draft Picks restaurant in Naperville – a favorite spot near Helene’s home where she often gathered with friends.
