Hershel Albert Pruitt

Hershel A. Pruitt, 89, of Batavia passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by loving family members.  He was born in Geneva Community Hospital November 30, 1932, the son of Hershel and Viola Blanche (Meyer) Pruitt.

Hershel was a member of the Geneva Masonic Lodge #139 and Bethany Lutheran Church in Batavia. Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was employed as a Design Engineer Checker at Caterpillar in Montgomery for more then thirty years.  

He is survived by his loving wife Louise Pruitt, two children Susan Joyce (Mark) Sheley and Linda Louise Conard; three grandchildren, Matthew (Alisha) Sheley, Taylor Sheley, and Thomas (Melissa Perkins) Conard; and two great-grandchildren, Eddie and Amanda Whittaker.
