John A Stern

John A. Stern, 59, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, after many years of battling chronic health issues. 

John was born on August 30, 1962, to parents Richard and June.  He was a 1980 graduate of St. Charles High School. John worked in a local factory, Jarrow Products for over 25 years, as a supervisor until it closed. 

John was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed anytime spent along the banks of rivers and lakes throughout the Midwest, as long as he had his fishing pole, he was happy. His boat became his best companion over the last 15 years, he loved being out on the water. He enjoyed many trips to Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota to seek out the best catch. John enjoyed traveling when he could and spending time with his family. He enjoyed bird watching and had contributed to many clean ups of local forest preserves. 

John is survived by his loving mom, June, his two sisters, Laura (Mark) Graf and Kristin (Robert) Floyd , a step-daughter, Nicole Burr and many nieces and nephews and special cousins. 

John was proceeded in death by his father, Richard H. Stern, his step-father, Robert G. Stern, his brother, Richard J. Stern and his grandparents, Herman & Ann Stern, and Bersell and Frances Olson. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M.on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home in St. Charles, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles, IL.  A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. (Noon) until the time of service.
