Joseph Fasano

Joseph Fasano , 75, of St. Charles passed away April 27, 2020. He was born August  19, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of Bruno and Josephine (nee Failla) Fasano. Joseph was united in marriage with Bonnie (deceased in 2015) November 7, 1967 in Oak Park, IL.

He is survived by his two daughters Nicole (Ray) Blankenship of St. Charles and Vida (Brad) Birkhead of Geneva, son Paul (Jil) Fasano of Rockford, and four grandchildren – Lauren, Myles, Emma and Bella.

Joe spent his career in finance and accounting. He was a kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor and even greater sense of style. He loved his family dearly, and treasured the times they spent together, always mentioning how proud he was of them. A devout Catholic, Joe was an active member of his parish, St. Patrick Catholic Church, and participated in parish ministry work for a number of years, most notably “Donut Sunday” where he would enlist the help of countless volunteers so that he could visit with all of the parishioners.

Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be celebrated at a time to be announced, anticipating late summer.
