June Westphall, 98, of Batavia passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born June 24, 1922, in Batavia the daughter of Hilmer and Clara (Gabrielson) Benson. June was a lifelong resident of Batavia and worked for Furnas Electric for 22 years.
She is survived by her son John (Tammy) Westphall; four grandchildren, Chris Westphall, Lisa (Reuben Cantu) Westphall, Melissa (Dan) Sigler, Shannon Westphall; six great-grandchildren, Cloe and Avery Westphall, and Daniel, Lucas, Cameron, and Connor Sigler.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Benson, and three sisters Mary Thielk, Gladys Benson and Vivian Gould.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL.
