Justina Reyes Mabulay

Justina Reyes Mabulay, 86, of St. Charles passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Tower Hill Health Care in South Elgin. She was born in the Philippines on May 13, 1936, the daughter of Aurelio and Clemencia (Oliveros) Reyes. She was united in marriage to Marcelo Mabulay on October 4, 1950, in the Philippines.

She is survived by her husband Marcelo of St. Charles; four children, Rebecca (Bobot) Bruno, Rene (Konnie) Mabulay, George (Cora) Mabulay, Myla (Bebot) Jara; fifteen grandchildren, Ryan, Coleen, Justine, Erenelle, Olivia, Zakary, Khimb, Kaith, Georlinne, Grace, Gili, Gianna, Maverick, Marben, and Marianne; and five great-grandchildren, Alexia, Ally, Gio, Rowen, and Raven; her siblings, Winnie (Fred) Manganti, Clod (Gi) Reyes, Frank (Alice) Reyes, Marilyn (Joe) Rivera, Fely Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Efren (Cynthia) Reyes, and a sister-in-law, Lucing Reyes.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Leovino Reyes, and a sister, Sally Reyes.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.

Funeral services will begin with prayers at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 12, 2023, from Moss-Norris Funeral Home, before processing to St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 East Main Street St. Charles, IL, to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in Union Cemetery in St. Charles, IL
