Kathleen Elizabeth Farmer

Kathleen Elizabeth Farmer, 76, passed away on December 8, 2019 in Geneva, IL surrounded by family.  She was born in Chicago to Bert Salbego and Margaret Fidanze on June 2, 1943. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lewis W. Farmer, on September 17, 1960 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Chicago.

Kathy made friends wherever she went.  She touched many people in her special way whether it was sharing her homemade food or sending thoughtful cards.  She had a huge heart and enjoyed making people feel special.  She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved to share her many stories. 

Kathleen is survived by her children Lois Balthazore of Batavia, Daniel (Christine) Farmer of Cary, and Margaret “Peggi” Rusnock of North Aurora; her grandchildren, Matthew Lewis, Rachael Margaret, Michelle Christine, Nicole Elizabeth, Danielle Kathleen, Mitchell Rusnock and her great granddaughter Ariel Myla. 

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lewis W. Farmer.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2019 from 9:00AM – 10:00AM at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 S. Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 10:30AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 Main St. Batavia, IL.

Entombment will be held privately.
