Kevin Robbins

Kevin Robbins, 42, of St. Charles passed away November 12, 2022, at University of Illinois Chicago Hospital, surrounded by is family.  He was born April 2, 1980, in Urbana, IL, the son of Charles and Melissa (Nuss) Robbins.  Kevin was united in marriage to Teresa Dahl July 16, 2005, in Bloomingdale, IL.

Kevin was raised in Paxton, Illinois and graduated from PBL High School in 1998.  While in high school Kevin excelled as an athlete in football, basketball, and baseball.  He continued his education at Illinois State University where he obtained a degree in education.  Kevin taught high school in Riverton, IL, and coached basketball.  Always on to a new adventure Kevin and his new wife Teresa moved to Redlands, CA where he continued to teach at Hemett High School.  While in California Kevin also coached basketball at the University of Redlands.  In 2009, Kevin moved back to Illinois and have been residents of St. Charles. Kevin has been employed by Sunbelt Rentals in Aurora for the past 13 years.  Kevin had a great personality that made him easy to love.  Friends and family always seem to congregate around him.  He loved spending time with friends attending University of Illinois sports, watching sports, or playing a round of golf.  Kevin would never hide from work he was a responsible man who loved to work hard and has always taken his career and his family man responsibilities to heart. Kevin loved all of Gods creations especially his dogs the late Gus, and the late Doris and currently Otis. As well as his late cats Jake and Elwood. Kevin loved to stay busy and active, but no time was more precious then the time he spent with his loving wife and this three adored children. 

Kevin is survived by his loving wife Teresa; three children, Ben, Ella, and Sammie; his mother Melissa Robbins, his father Charles Robbins; a sister Kim (Tom) Geiger; his mother and father-in-law, Dwight and Patti Dahl; sisters-in-law, Rachael (Mark) Vana, and Natalie (Alan) Muenster, and his nieces and nephews, Maggie and Olivia Geiger, Royce and Lennox Vana, and Mila and Ava Muenster; and his aunts and uncles, Mitch (Beth) Nuss, Matt (Sherri) Nuss, Marty (Roxann) Nuss, Lynn (Bill) Ingold, and Pam (Mark) Lewis. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elzie and Naomi Nuss, and his paternal grandparents, Scotty and Ann Robbins. 

 Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. Family and friends are encouraged to wear sports attire (excluding Soxs).  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 5:00 P.M.  Rev. Ronald Kalas will officiate the funeral service. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family where an education fund will be established for Kevin’s children.
