OBITUARY

Lois Mae (nee Peterson) Tuttle
Age 90 of Batavia Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 17, 2017.

She was the daughter of Carl and Anna Peterson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Robert “Bob” Tuttle. Survived by her four children; Beth Heyob (Jim), Rick (Tyler), Scott (Barb), and Chris (Becky). Loving grandmother to Alex (Emily), Lauren, Kelsey, Darcy, and Bryce. Also survived by her beloved brother Carl and sister-in-law Marilyn Peterson. Loving aunt to Ann Allen, Greg Peterson, Julie Muehlheuser, and Alicia Sullivan. Former Junior Walther League champion, Lois was a proud graduate of Miami University, pioneering stewardess on United Airlines and long time teacher at Wasco School. Many years as an active volunteer for many community organizations. Born in Chicago, long time resident of St. Charles, IL and most recently a community member at The Holmstad in Batavia. Her love of learning and inquisitive nature was with her every day of her life. She loved travel, history, reading and being surrounded by family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be 10-11:30 A.M. Monday, March 6th, 2017, at Yurs - Funeral Home 1771 West State St, Geneva IL, 60134. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:30. Inurnment will be at Prairie Cemetery, St. Charles Township.www.yursfuneralhomes.com .
