Lynn Ellen Vitali

Lynn Ellen Vitali, age 62, of St. Charles, Illinois passed away on February 3, 2022 at Delnor Hospital.  She was born August 18, 1959 in Urbana, IL the daughter of Leo and Betty (Castelli) Vitali.   

Lynn was raised in St. Charles, Illinois with her four siblings, graduating from St. Charles High School. After high school Lynn attended Northern Illinois University earning her BS in Nursing. She was a nurse her entire career both in hospital and home care in Colorado and Illinois.  She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, hiking, skiing, winning family fantasy football championships and volunteering at Northern Illinois Food Bank.  She was a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. 

Lynn is survived by her siblings: Mark (Kary) Vitali, Sandy (David) Wagner, Lori (Andy) Seddon, and Lisa (Robert) Small.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Sarah (Brian Burkhart) Vitali, Stacy (Nick McInerney) Vitali McInerney, Alex (Kristin) Wagner, John Wagner, Joseph Vitali, David Small, Jessica Small, Kimberly Seddon, Michael Small and Hannah Seddon, and grand nephews: Jaxson and Kai Wagner and Carson McInerney.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.  A short memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:30 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Northern Illinois Food Bank, https://solvehungertoday.org/ 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva IL 60134.
