Maria J. Falco

Maria J. Falco, 74, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 in St. Charles, IL. She was born March 6, 1948 in Spain to parents Juan Perez Labato and Mercedes Sanchez Patino.  She was united in marriage to Pat Falco on January 9, 1970 in Rota Cadiz, Spain.

After marrying Pat, Maria immigrated to the US.  They lived in Streamwood, IL for 34 years where they raised their two kids. Maria worked for Jewel Foods for 20 years and then she and Pat retired to The Villages, Florida where they enjoyed lots of sunshine! Maria became a US Citizen in August 2008.  She loved cruising with friends, playing cards, dancing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.   

She is survived by her loving husband Pat; two children, Vince (Laura Lohrmann) Falco, and Viki (Ben) Jeffrey; her nephew Alex (Yolanda) Perez, three grandchildren; Eliana, Simon, and Violet Jeffrey; and her sister, Mercedes Perez Sanchez. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Manuel, Gertrudis, Carmen and Antonia.    

A celebration of Maria’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Relay for Life or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in her name.
