OBITUARY Marion “Meon” Eash, age 94, of St. Charles passed away June 4, 2017 at Bickford of St. Charles.
She was born November 28, 1922 in St. Charles to August and Ann Dorn. On July 15, 1942 she was united in marriage to Howard E. Eash at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia.
Mrs. Eash was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Charles, where she was a Sunday school teacher, served on the Altar Guild and served many funeral luncheons with her husband, Howard. Mrs. Eash was a member of the PTA in St. Charles and involved in Cub Scouts as a Den Mother at Lincoln School. For over 30 years, she was a waitress at St. Andrews Golf Course in West Chicago. Marion enjoyed bowled until her mid 80’s.
She is survived by her two children; Scott of Elburn, Christine Blincoe of Montgonery, four grandchildren; Clinton, and Gustin Eash, Tracey (George) Rieber and Kevin Blincoe, five great-grand-children; Casey, Seth Derek Blincoe, Noah, Liam Rieber, and her sister-in-law Ernestine Dorn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Howard, an infant daughter Lebonon Eve, grandson James Blincoe, and brother Raymond Dorn.
A Memorial Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 101 S. 6th Avenue, St. Charles, IL 601745. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
