Mark Anthony Lara

Mark Anthony Lara, 50 of Plano passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at Loyola University Medical Center.  Mark was born April 19, 1971, in St. Charles, IL the son of Fabian and Anna (Pineda) Lara. 

His life will be forever cherished through his loved ones.  His children Jenna (Aaron) Hogg, Mark Lara and the mother of his children Lisa Lara.  His mother Anna (Walter) Villarreal, his siblings Fabian (Shelley) Lara, Fred (Rosalinda) Lara, Cristina (Jim) Landrum and Brandon Roman.  His step siblings, Gina (Eric) Medina, Cindy (Michael) Ruiz, and Walt Villarreal Jr.; Two grandchildren Ava and Aaron James (AJ) who adored their grandfather (Welo) very much.  His grandmother, Maria G. Pineda, and his Tia Yolanda Riesterer who he saw as his second momma.  Mark is survived by many nieces and nephews, Felicia (Mike), Frankie, Johnny who is also his Godson, Fallyn, J.J., Alex (Xavier, and their children Emre and Jayce), Fabo (Lymaris) and Anisa, Vanessa, Desi, Amaya, Marcus and two great babies (niece or nephew) on the way.   He also had many, many cousins whom he loved.  Together his loving FAMILA!

He is proceeded in death by his father Fabian Lara, his uncle Oscar Roman, his Tia Gloria Roman and his good friend Lupe Vela.

Mark touched so many lives and had so much love to share.  He had an infectious smile and laugh that he shared with everyone who crossed his path and you always had a friend in him.  The imprint that he left on our lives will keep his spirt alive forever!

We wish we had more time together but we will always hold the memories we have close to our hearts.

When we think of your endless love for your family it is something we will treasure Today, Tomorrow and Forever.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL. 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Whitney Cemetery, Campton Hills, IL.
