Mary Jeanne Venneri
 May 19, 1931 - June 12, 2022 Mary Jeanne Venneri, 91, of St. Charles passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. She was born May 19, 1931, in Chicago, the daughter of Maurice and Cecile (Corrigan) Murphy. Mary was raised in Chicago and graduated from St. Thomas Apostle High School. She went on to college at DePaul University. For a short time Mary worked for the Boilermakers Union in Chicago. She was united in marriage to John Francis Venneri May 5, 1956, in Chicago, IL. In June of 1960, Mary and John and their young family moved to St. Charles. Mary’s family, her faith and her community were always important. She was a dedicated homemaker and a devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. At St. Patrick Parish, Mary was a charter member of the Prayer Circle, taught Sunday school and volunteered. As a dedicated mother, she volunteered as the Brownie Troop mom, and at Richmond School. She will be remembered for having a beautiful smile, having a great personality, and the mother who loved taking interest in her family, her friends, and all her children’s friends. She is survived by her three children, Mary Zahner, James (Diane) Venneri and Margaret Venneri; four She is preceded in death by her husband John Venneri; a son-in-law Zane Zahner and her siblings; Joan Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
