Maxine D. Giebs

Maxine D. Giebs, 83, of Elgin, Il. and formerly of Hilton Head, SC., passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Seasons Hospice of Naperville, IL.  Maxine was born September 18, 1937, in South Bend, IN, the daughter of Clement and Josephine (nee. Sobczak) Dombkowski.  She was united in marriage to Stanley J. Giebs on September 29, 1958, in Chicago, Il.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Stanley J. Giebs; her daughter, Claudine (Brian) Myers; her two grandchildren, Josephine and Joshua Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara; and her brother, Robert.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Rd., Geneva, Il. 60134.  Interment will be held privately.
