Michael Scott Ayersman

Michael “Mike” Scott Ayersman, 51, of Batavia, IL., passed away on December 24, 2019 in Batavia, IL.  Mike was born on December 22, 1968 in Hinsdale, IL. the son of Charles “Mick” and Marilyn (nee. Aeschliman) Ayersman. 

Mike was a native of Batavia and a 1987 graduate of Batavia High School, where he met many of his lifelong friends. He loved music and loved to “jam” on his guitar with his daughter, brothers, and friends. He could write lyrics, poems, and beautiful personal letters to those he loved. Much of career was spent building things for others, including many in and around Batavia. He loved nature and space and believed we are all one with this universe. He loved his life in Florida.

Mike is known for his super intellect and quick wit. He never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend. He said “I love you” freely and meant it.

Mike is survived by his mother, Marilyn Ayersman; his two children; Mallory Ayersman and Brandon Ayersman; his three siblings, Tracy (Jeff) Payne, Brian Ayersman and Matthew (Kim) Ayersman; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Mick” Ayersman.

A memorial service will be held on January 12, 2020 at Liam and Madi’s Beer Wine and Spirits, 360 Dock Street, Cedar Key FL. 32625, in the late afternoon.  Interment will be held privately.
