Philip Martin Liotta
October 16, 1955 - August 6, 2022 Philip Martin Liotta, 66, of Geneva passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. He was born October 16, 1955, in Oak Park, IL. Philip was a unique man who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He had a passion for model trains. He used his creativity to produce several distinctive train sets including a backyard train set surrounding a pond which also ran through a tunnel. Philip was never a man to take life too seriously. He will be fondly remembered for his great personality his very own clothing style and his wonderful sense of humor. Phil was employed for many years as a color match specialist who worked for Meyercord in Carol Stream for over twenty years. He most recently had been employed at L & W Roselle as a yard manager where he had worked for a total of fifteen years. He is survived by his son, Nathan Liotta; his parents, Michael, and Joan (nee Custy) Liotta; two sisters, Linda (William) Prewett and Lisa DiSerio; a brother Michael (Debra) Liotta; and his nieces and nephews, Eric (Terese) Liotta, Lyssa (Richard Daniels) Liotta, Jillian Prewett, Collen Prewett, Alexander DiSerio, Anthony DiSerio, Emily (Nico) Minerva, and Andrew DiSerio. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
