July 27, 1943 - May 6, 2017
Sharon Ann Harms, age 73, of Sugar Grove, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was the cherished mother of Tim, Andy, Michael, and Paul; beloved wife of Albert Thiele; and adored sister of John Miller.
Sharon was born July 27, 1943 in Chicago, the first child of Adam and Florence Miller. Her kindness impacted countless numbers of friends, relatives, and confidants. She most recently worked as an administrative assistant for Dr. Donald Fee, DDS, in Sugar Grove, where she graced every colleague with her infectious spirit.
Sharon exuded a warmth felt by all those who encountered her. She proudly instilled in her four sons her generous nature and elegantly kind demeanor. Her endearing traits of compassion, resilience, and faith resonate among those who knew her.
Sharon loved animals and was an avid donor to the ASPCA and The Humane Society. She adored her many pets, both the ones she adopted, and those who adopted her.
First and foremost, Sharon was Mom. Family remained her true devotion. Her role as Mom filled her with the most pride, and she relished providing guidance and advice to fellow mothers and friends. Once a Mom, always a Mom.
Her beautiful soul will be dearly missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Adam, and her mother, Florence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, from 4 to 8pm at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main St. St. Charles. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 10, from 10:30am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 North Fifth Ave., St. Charles.
