Shirley Elizabeth Konrad

Shirley Elizabeth Konrad, 92, of Batavia passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021.  She was born December 1, 1928 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Roy and Loyselle (Cross) Bell. 

She is survived by her three children; Steven (Nancy) Konrad, and Linda (Kirk) Cunningham; five grandchildren, Mike Konrad, Ashley (D.J.) Schoonover, Brandon Shriver, Crystal Shriver, Candi Cope; six great-grandchildren, Colton, Jackson, Malachi and Giana Shriver, and Greyson and Audree Schoonover, countless other family members, and dearest of lifelong friends.    

She is preceded in death by her daughter Debra Sue, and a grandson Decker Cunningham. 

Shirley was an amazing mother; she was caring, giving and selfless.  While she lived in Medinah, she was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church.  She was always active in her home or community; she was a selfless volunteer wherever she was needed.  In her spare time, Shirley loved to ballroom dance and teach others to dance, she appreciated the pure joy and delight of dance and music. 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
