Taek Chun Kwon

Taek Chun Kwon, 50, of Yorkville, IL, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022.  Taek was born in South Korea February 8, 1972, the son of Eui Myong and Sukkyun (Shin) Kwon.

Taek had a laid-back personality and loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and going to the beach. He had a fun, goofy personality and enjoyed making others happy and laugh even at his own expense. He was a loving family man, especially spending time as a father and uncle. Taek had a big heart and was a hardworking and dedicated man who loved providing special gifts to his family and friends.  He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and his love he had expressed towards all his family and friends.   

He is survived by his former wife, Aunhwa Kwon; their son Justin Kwon; a sister Mi Yong (Ernie) Lang; his parents, Eui Myong and Sukkyun Kwon and his nephew Jacob Lang and niece Alexa Lang.  

Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. May 11, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL.  Funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M.
