Terry H. Jones

Terry H. Jones, 76, of Batavia, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Autumn Leaves in St. Charles, IL. Terry was born on November 11, 1944, in Aurora, IL. He was the son of L.C, and Elizabeth (nee. Golden) Jones. He was united in marriage to Alexis H. Cokinis on June 25, 1965, in Wheaton, IL.

Terry was a devoted father and husband and was fiercely loyal to his wife Alexis (Cookie).

Terry loved to play hockey when he was younger. He fished and hunted with friends and family. He had the very best dry sense of humor without cracking a smile. He loved playing golf and loved going on golf trips with many friends such as Dennis and Robbie. He and Cookie had great trips on his Harley Davidson motorcycles, with many friends such as Matt and Lucy, and Rita. Terry always enjoyed life and made the most of it.

Terry worked for All Truck Transportation as VP of Sales & Operations until he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2006. He fought the disease with strength and dignity until the very end.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Alexis H. Jones; his two children, Virginia, and Terrence Jones; three grandchildren, Charles, Kevin and Rachel Kost; his sister, Betty Jones; his brother, Edward (Marsha) Jones; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM. until 4:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, Il. 60510.  A funeral service will follow at 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
