Theodore Edward Bonifas

Theodore “Ted” Edward Bonifas, 78, of St. Charles, IL, formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Seasons Hospice of Naperville, IL.  Ted was born on November 24, 1943 in Aurora, IL, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (nee. May) Bonifas.

Sandblaster. 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper. Proud Luxembourger. Liked Old Style beer, red pick-up trucks, and John Deere tractors. Story teller. History buff. Avid reader. Always willing to do a favor. Liked steak and potatoes with a good old fashioned. Or a crown and coke. Loved planes, trains, and everything mechanical. Prankster. Hard worker. And, most of all, friend to many.

Ted is survived by his loving wife, Tiffery R. Bonifas, whom he married after love at first sight forty years ago; his two children; his son-in-law; his soon-to-be son-in-law; his two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL, 60510.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL.  Memorial donations in Ted’s name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, https://donate.lovetotherescue.org.
