Joy Yvonne Mish

Joy Yvonne Mish, 68, of Wasco passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 following a battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her loving husband and sons.  She was born February 9, 1952 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Glenn and Elizabeth (Meggson) Brewer.  She was united in marriage to Louis Mish October 9, 1971 in Elgin, IL. 

Joy was a courageous, strong woman with a great personality who adored her husband and three sons.  She was employed by Spare wheels Transportation for the past 10 years prior to her retirement.  She was a crafty woman who created many law ornaments and was handy and any D.I.Y. project.   

She is survived by her husband Louis Mish; three sons Andrew, Randall, and Greg Mish, and two sisters, Janet (Howard) Bateman and Jackie Brewer. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Glenn Brewer, Jr. 

A visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. 

A private interment will be held in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions of occupancy, the visitation will be limited. All visitors entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering.  Be prepared to wait outside if occupancy becomes an issue. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visitation a brief one so that all who would like to attend will have a chance to do so.
