Benjamin Peñaflor Obituary Benjamin L. Peñaflor, age 84, of West Chicago, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 17, 1940, in Ciudad de México (Mexico City), México, the son of Ángel and Aurelia (De León) Peñaflor.  Benjamin was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who captured the hearts of many with his good nature, warmth, gracious humility, and kindness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Martha; their three children; Louis, Arlete, and Michael, along with their spouses; his cherished grandchildren; and numerous other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, and is now reunited with them for eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven. A visitation for Benjamin will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 12:00 pm at 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva. Final burial will take place at a later date in México.
