Catherine Nowacki Obituary Catherine “Jean” Nowacki nee Brown, age 89, of Plainfield passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Nowacki. Loving mother of JeanAnn Weber (Joann), Kenny (Barbara) and Bill (Mary). Grandmother of Paul (Michelle) Matthew (Amanda), Paige (Kelsey), Mitchell (Sydney), Joshua and Sara. Great Grandmother of 5. Daughter of the late John and Francis Brown. Dearest sister of Helen, Carole and the late Mary, Jack, Ruth, Tom and Margaret. Visitation for Catherine will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet with a liturgical wake service at 7:45 pm. Funeral prayers will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 9:00 am at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home proceeding to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood, IL 60404 for a 10:00 AM for Celebration of Funeral Mass.  Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.
