Daniel Steven Snyder

Daniel Steven Snyder, 65, passed away on January 23, 2023. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 16, 1958, the son of Luke and Eleanor Victoria (nee. Mort) Snyder. 

He lived in Boulder, Co, Davenport, IA, and Oswego, IL, but lived most of his life in the Batavia, Geneva, and Aurora areas.  

He was married young to Vickie Quantock and they had one child, LeeAnn.  After a few years, they divorced.  Dan later married Joey Oury and they had five children. In 2016, Joey and Daniel decided to separate and over the past few years, he has enjoyed spending time with Laura Hernandez.

He is survived by his mother, Eleanor; six children; LeeAnn, Greg, Ryan, Devin, Matt, and Kate; three grandsons, Leo, James, and Jaxon and two granddaughters, Faith, and Luna; two sisters, Sherry Ann (Bob) Johnson, and Laura Marie Snyder and a niece, Brandy.

Daniel started his career in 1978 at Farnsworth Computer Center where he was employed for over 15 years before venturing into a business of his Own.  Dan owned and operated Farnsworth Computer Services for 10 years before joining forces with Pentegra and most recently joined the team with PACE Systems, Inc.  Daniel had his airplane pilot license and enjoyed flying and visiting his property in Minnesota.     

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. following the visitation.
