Denise A. Gibbons Obituary Denise A. Gibbons, age 61, of Geneva, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Delnor Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 14, 1964, in Chicago, daughter of Robert and Geraldine (Sroczynski) Gibbons. Denise was a Catholic elementary school teacher for many years.  She truly loved her students and they loved her.  She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her mother Geraldine; sister Cynthia (Kenneth) Byker of Geneva; nieces and nephew Mary (Andrew) Blatz, Bridget (Jack) Barrett, and Grace and Danny Byker; great nieces and nephew Bryson and Colette Blatz and Nellie Barrett; dearest friends Kent (Tina) Munsterman and children Trigg and Knox; and other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and nephew Bobby Byker.
