May 16, 1940 - June 9, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Farrell (St Charles, Illinois), born in Euclid, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 80. His wife Rebecca “Becky” Farrell preceeded him in death in 2010. Dennis was a beloved community and business leader who is survived by his three children: Scott Farrell (Milwaukee, WI), Brett Farrell (St Charles, IL), Robbin Farrell and her partner Karl (Crystal Lake, IL). Dennis’s three grandsons, Neil and Jake Milford and Andrew Farrell, adored their grandfather. Dennis had six siblings; four preceded him in death. His two sisters Mary Alice Larsen (Cleveland, OH) and Ann Hoenigman (Cleveland, OH) will miss him dearly. Dennis attended Holy Cross School grammar school (Euclid, OH). He graduated from St Joseph High School (Cleveland, OH) and Cleveland State University. He and Becky moved to Wisconsin to raise their family and start their business; they were co-owners of Hi-Co Limited of Menomonee Falls, WI. A leader in his community, Dennis served as a trustee of the Village of Menomonee from 2003-2013. He was a founding member of Menomonee Falls Neighborhood Watch program, and he served several terms as president. A tree was planted in Dennis’s name to honor his work in his local community and he was recognized with a Founder’s Award. Dennis, a parent to an autistic child, was committed to supporting people with disabilities. He was an Easter Seals Trustee. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Dennis was a proud Green Bay Packers Fan, and he owned a share of the team. He was a train enthusiast, and enjoyed sharing that passion with his grandsons. Dennis’ family and friends are invited to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to  St. Coletta of Wisconsin N4637 County Road Y Jefferson, WI. 53549.
