April 1, 1945 - July 20, 2026 Diane Carol Born, 81, died Monday July 20th, with her son at her side. She was greatly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. The daughter of Eugene and Dorothy Quinlivan. Diane was born on April 1st, 1945, in Chicago and graduated from South Shore High School, Chicago. On June 27, 1964, she married John Raymond Born at St. Joseph’s Church in Chicago. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and Jeopardy, collecting stamps, coins and salt and pepper shakers. Diane cherished time with her family and her furry dog and cat babies the most. She is preceded in death by her husband John Raymond Born, parents Eugene and Dorothy (Masilonis) Quinlivan, sister Jean Casey. Surviving are her sons John (Katherine) Born, Mark (Tracy) Born, grandchildren Austin, John, Brooke, Tyler(Madison) and Connor Born. A private funeral will be held August 10th. Burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
