Emil Bartholet

October 19, 1961 - January 20, 2022

Emil Bartholet, age 60 of St. Charles, died January 20, 2022. He was born to Emil and Jeanette Bartholet  in Summit,  New Jersey, and the oldest of the four children. Emil was a “foodie” that truly enjoyed a wide variety of ethnic foods. He was an avid reader, A history buff, and  an enthusiastic hobbyist of modern rocketry. He was also a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. He is survived by his sister, Marie-Jeanne (Lance) Forbes of Ashburn, Virginia, his brother, Philip J. Bartholet (Kristine) of Saint Charles, Illinois, his step sisters, Marie-Louise (William) Keiser, of Cham, Switzerland, Rita (Pius) Gisler, of Menzingen, Switzerland, Susanne Obert (Andy), of Stans, Switzerland, his nieces, and nephew. Emil was preceded in death by his mother,  Jeanette Bartholet , his brother, Anthony  Bartholet,  his father, Emil Bartholet, and his step-mother,  Rita Bartholet. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Emil Bartholet to the American Diabetes Association. Burial of Cremains will be held 9:00 A.M. March 25, 2022  at Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva.
