Gavin Lee Nagel

Obituary Gavin Lee Nagel age 18 of St. Charles passed away Friday May 27, 2022.             Gavin was born December 17, 2003 in Geneva the son of Terry and Valerie (King) Nagel. Gavin was a senior at St. Charles East High School. He loved to spend time outdoors and camping was one of his first passions. As he got older, he started to love sports cars, his KTM motocross bike, and snowboarding.  He also enjoyed bonfires and fishing. Gavin had a special relationship with both of his sisters and he had a gift to make everyone laugh, especially his younger cousins. Maggie Connell was very special to Gavin and always knew how to make him smile. Gavin was so happy to be with his family and friends and his two dogs Sadie and Coco.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Gavin is survived by his parents Terry and Valerie; two sisters  Casey (Carlos) Ortiz and Alex; grandparents John and Donna King of Maryville, Barb and Sam Macaluso of Burr Ridge and Terry and Becky Nagel of Sparta, IL. aunts and uncles Sam (Avani) Macaluso, Jay Macaluso, Julie McBride, Corey (Ashleigh) Nagel, Jodie (Mark) Harless and Brian (Stella) King. Funeral service for Gavin will be held 10:00 am on Saturday June 4, 2022  at Chapel Street Church 2300 South Street, Geneva with Pastor Brian Coffey officiating. Visitation will be held Friday June 3 from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. (Rt. 38) Geneva.
