Gloria J. Kalina

Gloria J. Kalina, Age 92, of Batavia passed away on Friday June 11, 2021.

She was born August 10, 1928 in Geneva, IL the Daughter of Charles Hugo Anderson and Alice Irene (nee Baumann) She was united in marriage to James Frank Kalina on September 24, 1949.

Gloria is a lifelong member of VFW Post 1197. She worked in Gustaffson Elementary School as a lunch lady retiring in 1971.

Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Alice, her husband James, her brothers Charles J. Anderson, Harrold “Bud” Anderson.

She is survived by her children James C. (Kathy) Kalina, Terry L (David) Opitz, Lori A. (Chris) Petropoulos, Grandmother of Denver (Robert Anderson) Davis, Matthew (Ciarra) Opitz, Anthony Steinolfson, Cory Petropoulos, Devin Petropoulos, Susan (the Late Russell) Powell, Brian (Lisa) VanMeter, Great Grandmother of Zach, Wyatt, Dalton, Luke, Kyle, Henry and Raven
