Gregory Patrick Meehan Obituary Gregory Patrick Meehan, 36, passed away unexpectedly on November 19,2023 at his residence in Tucson, Arizona. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Greg was born on March 17,1987 to Judith(Judy) and Kevin Meehan in Manchester, Connecticut. He lived in Vernon, Connecticut for the first three years of his life then moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania for the next five years.  The rest of his childhood was spent in Geneva, Illinois.  Before receiving his Associates Degree at Waubonssee Community College he graduated from Geneva High School and went on to attend Aurora University. Greg married the love of his life, Dulce Cordova, in Tucson, Arizona. They had two children, Paul born in 2020 and Francesca in 2022.  Greg loved being a father.  He took an active role in the lives of his children sharing his love of football, basketball, jujitsu and cooking as well as a passion for video games.  One of his favorite activities was to take them to the mall to watch videos at the sports store followed by Auntie Annie's pretzels and lemonade. Greg enjoyed cooking and creating delicious meals for family and friends. His specialties were his infamous breakfast sandwiches and  tomahawk steaks and shrimp. His favorite appetizer was chicken wings especially during the Super Bowl.  He delighted in watching others enjoy his creations. Greg had an unquenchable thirst for jujitsu and for sharing play by play football commentaries with his father on the phone from Arizona to Illinois. He also inherited a love of golf and quickly mastered the game. Greg had many careers throughout his life.  He worked hard from an early age at McDonalds and then as Chucky Cheese. As an adult he was a manager for LA Fitness , worked in admissions for senior rehab and took on part time jobs for additional income especially during the holidays.  His favorite position was his last- working for the Marriott. Greg had a great quirky sense of humor.  From his nicknames for people and animals to his home videos he loved to make people smile.  He was caring and compassionate and had a soft heart both for animals and those less fortunate.  He had such a kind heart he would empty his pockets for the homeless and once gave someone his coat and shoes.  His favorite holiday was Christmas and he delighted in choosing thoughtful and meaningful gifts. Greg is survived by his wife Dulce and their two children Paul and Francesca , his parents Kevin and Judy Meehan, his sister Caroline Meehan and brother Christopher Meehan, his maternal grandmother Alma Kriksciun as well as the Cordova, Meehan and Kriksciun extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John Kriksciun and paternal grandparents Frank and Patricia Meehan.He touched so many family, friends, coworkers and mentors who loved him dearly during his brief life. Gregory thank you for your courage, compassion and the good times.  We hope you have found the peace, love and strength you shared with so many. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 17th at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1950 Irvington Pl, Tucson, Az (520)883-1717.
