Judith “Judy” Lynn Sester
December 23, 1942 - June 27, 2026 Judith “Judy” Lynn Sester, age 83, of St. Charles, Illinois, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at their lake home in Delavan, Wisconsin. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and their families hold her love close, cherishing the warmth and devotion she brought to their lives. Born December 23, 1942, in Elgin, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Harry Werrbach (1923-2001) and Elsie Ruth (Hoffmeier) Campbell (1924-2007). Judy graduated from Elgin High School in 1960 and married Dennis Sester on April 29, 1961, at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Hampshire, Illinois. Judy devoted herself wholeheartedly to her husband, her five children, and the loving home she nurtured around them. She and her husband shared a rare and cherished bond, having been born on the same day and year. She delighted in cooking, tending her gardens, appreciating the beauty of nature, and caring for her pets. Judy also loved to travel, finding joy in exploring new places and cultures. Her interests reflected her caring spirit and the deep devotion she held for her family. She is survived by her husband, Dennis of St. Charles, IL and their five children, Deanna (John) Avizinis of Lincoln, RI, Suzanne (Dann) O’Brien of Frisco, TX, Michelle Sester (Jason Schur) of Severn, MD, Ryan Sester of Evanston, IL, and Kristin Sester (Steven Reuland) of Batavia, IL; four grandchildren, Mark Gentile, Madison Blevins, Hannah Deaton, and Lucas Reuland. A private funeral was held for the family, and she was laid to rest at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.
